Course Experience Questions

Why don’t I have access to my course?

There are a few reasons this might happen.

  1. You may need a to wait a few minutes for the system to automatically grant course access to you. This should happen within 15 minutes of your purchase.
  2. Did you pay by eCheck? An eCheck is a payment that you make directly from your bank account. Just like a regular check, it usually takes between 3 and 5 business days for an eCheck to clear. You will be allowed access to the course after your eCheck clears.
  3. Your browser session may have expired and/or you may not be logged in. Try logging out of the site and/or clearing your browser cache and log back in here. (Need help clearing your cache? Check out this tutorial — it covers all of the major web browsers and operating systems: www.refreshyourcache.com )
  4. Did you sign up for a previous course or a free report using a different email address? Contact the Help Desk
  5. Your timezone has not caught up with when the course becomes available. Depending on your timezone you may be able to pay for a course before the course is available in your timezone. You may have to wait until midnight Pacific time for the course to become available or contact the Help Desk.

How will I access the materials?

You will receive an email with an introduction to the course and links to access the course material.

  2. You will be redirected to the Student Dashboard.
  3. From the Student Dashboard choose your course link.

Live Courses

  • In some self-study courses, only the first unit in the first module is clickable at the beginning of the course. After you finish that unit, check it off and the next one will become available. For other self-study courses, all the course materials will be available on one page for you to use or download.

Can I download the videos?

  • Yes. You can right-click or control-click the download link to save the file, or you can click on the downlink link to allow the file open in a new window. Steps may vary depending on your browser.

I prefer to listen while I drive or walk. Can I do that?

  • Yep. Each audio will have a download link. Videos can also be downloaded to watch on your phone or tablet — but please don’t watch while you’re driving.

What happens if I fall behind?

  • No worries! Your links to these materials (or forums, if your class included those) will not expire.

My class came with forum support. How can I access the forum?

  • If your class includes forums, you’ll be able to see a link to the Forum on the course dashboard. No additional login and password is necessary for access to forums.

I can’t access the forum?

  • Check the Course Dashboard to see if forums are included with your course, then try logging out of the site and clearing your browser cache. (Need help clearing your cache? Check out this tutorial — it covers all of the major web browsers and operating systems: www.refreshyourcache.com.)

Can I get a certificate showing that I completed my course?

  • If your course offers a certificate of completion, it will be available to you once you complete all of the units and modules. Make sure you click the button at the bottom of each unit to mark it complete once you finish it.
